Placenta Health
The placenta plays a multitude of roles in the health and development of your growing baby:
- transfer of oxygen & nutrients from mum to bub
- waste removal from bub to mum
- hormone production to support bub's development and pregnancy health in mum
- immune defence against viruses and pathogens
Choline is an important nutrient for placenta health and studies show that ingesting at least 450mg of choline per day can support placenta health.*
